Update a Config Set

Updates an Apigee Test Config Set by ID. (To get the IDs of your Config Sets, use List Config Sets.)

If your Config Set contains a lot of variables, consider backing it up before updating it. To back it up, Get a Config Set and save the response as a file.

In the payload, you must supply at least the name and one variable, as shown in the sample payload.

  • Rename the Config Set: Enter an updated name in the payload.
If you want to leave the existing variables as they are, be sure to include all existing variable keys and values in the payload.
  • Replace the value of a variable: Enter the existing key name and enter a different value for the variable.
  • Change or delete variables: The variables you include in the payload become the variables in the Config Set. To keep existing variables as is, be sure to include them in the payload.
