Add your Apigee account information

You must add your Apigee organization name, environment(s), and account credentials to the overrides.yaml file that you created in the previous step. You can also optionally change the default namespace.

To add your information to the overrides.yaml file:

  1. Open the overrides.yaml file for edit if it is not already open.
  2. Base-64 encode your Apigee username and password. Apigee recommends that you use a method such as the following:
    printf 'username:password' | base64
  3. Add your Apigee org name, environment name, and base64-encoded Apigee account credentials to the overrides.yaml file, as the following example shows:

    For example:

    config:
      base64Credentials: dXNlckBleGFtcGxlLmNvbTphYmMxMjM=
      envs:
        - orgName: MyOrganization
          envName: MyEnvironment

      cassandra:
        storage:
          type: gcepd
          capacity: 50Gi
          gcepd:
            replicationType: regional-pd
    ...
  4. (Optional) Add a namespace property. The default is apigee.

    For example:

    namespace: MyNamespace
    config:

      base64Credentials: dXNlckBleGFtcGxlLmNvbTphYmMxMjM=
      envs:
        - orgName: MyOrganization
          envName: MyEnvironment

    cassandra:
      storage:
        type: gcepd
        capacity: 50Gi
        gcepd:
          replicationType: regional-pd
    ...
  5. Save your changes.
