You must set up a Kubernetes cluster before you can install the Edge Hybrid runtime services. Refer to the following section that is appropriate for your Kubernetes version and requirements:
For GKE clusters:
- GKE cluster requirements for development or demonstration clusters
- GKE cluster requirements for production clusters
For non-GKE clusters:
- Non-GKE cluster requirements for development or demonstration clusters
- Non-GKE cluster requirements for production clusters
To set up a cluster, you will need a Kubernetes administration machine. A Kubernetes administration machine is your local machine that you use to run commands against your Kubernetes cluster. This machine is typically a desktop machine that has access to your Kubernetes VMs.
