To build your portal, perform the steps defined in the following table.

Step Description
Manage your portals Create and manage your portals.
Manage the pages in your portal Create and manage your portal pages.
Develop portal content using the page editor Customize the content on your pages using the page editor. See also Markdown syntax quick reference.
Customize your theme Customize, preview, and publish the theme for your portal.
Set up navigation Add menus and container items to define how to navigate your portal.
Publish your APIs Publish your APIs and auto-generate API reference documentation.
Manage access to your APIs using API keys Control who can access your APIs.
Manage audiences (beta) Manage audiences to segment users and developer teams to control access to potal resources.
Manage the default visibility Manage the default visibility for specific resources.
Note: This feature is not available to Apigee hybrid integrated portals at this time.
Manage your assets Upload your own custom files and images for use in your portal.
Customize your domain Provide your own custom domain name to personalize your site.
Configure email Configure your SMTP server and the content of email notifications.
Configure a content security policy Configure a content security policy (CSP) for all pages in your portal to protect against cross-site scripting (XSS) and other code-injection attacks.
Note: This feature is not available to Apigee hybrid integrated portals at this time.
Configure analytics tracking Configure analytics tracking using Google Analytics or your own custom analytics tracking service.
Add custom scripts Add custom JavaScript code to your portal.
Publish your portal content Publish your portal content to the live site.
View your live portal View the currently published version of your portal.
Create a custom search page Create a custom search page and embed a Google custom search engine.
