On Monday, June 1, 2015, we released a patch version of Apigee Edge for Private Cloud.

New features and enhancements

Following are the new features and enhancements in this release.

Apigee Edge for Private Cloud supports Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6 (64-bit) and CentOS 6.5 & 6.6 (64-bit).

This service pack is only required when installing on Red Hat 6.6 or CentOS 6.5/6.6.

To apply this update and install with the newly supported operating systems:

Unzip Apigee Edge for Private Cloud - apigee-edge-4.15.04.00.zip or apigee-edge-4.15.04.00-ws.zip.

Note: The *ws.zip installer includes WebSocket support. Only use that installer if you're using WebSockets in production. That installer isn't recommended if you're not using WebSockets in production.
Unzip apigee-edge-4.15.04.01-EL6.6.zip into the same parent directory as the zip in step 1.
Run patch-install.sh -d <ApigeeEdgeInstallerDir>, where <ApigeeEdgeInstallerDir> is the location of Apigee Edge for Private Cloud installer directory, such as apigee-edge-4.15.04.00.
