On Monday, July 30, 2018, we began releasing a new version of Apigee Edge for Public Cloud.

New features and updates
The following lists the new feature in this release.
Istio services support for API products
A new Istio Services field has been added to the API Products UI. Use this field to enter one or more Istio service names to bind to the API product. A service name is a unique identifier for the service that you are binding.
For example: helloworld.default.svc.cluster.local. Binding associates a service deployed to an Istio service mesh with the API product.
You use this feature when configuring the Apigee Adapter for Istio, which is scheduled to be released soon. (792099230)
